Welcome back to our Product of the Month! This month, we take a look at one of our favorite products to share and enjoy with friends and family alike – our Kabanos! Although they come in a variety of flavours and sizes, this month we celebrate the original recipe. We’re not the only ones to do so: our Kabanos were awarded the silver for traditional-style sausage at the Ontario Finest Meats Competition in 2015. Our Kabanos are gluten-free, lactose-free, and soy-free, and have been naturally wood-smoked to bring out all of their flavour. These dry, savory treats are perfect for snacking and give just the right bit of spice to make your mouth water for more. Although you can slice them and serve them as appetizers with some dipping sauce, dice them and use them to add flair to a salad, or toss them into a spicy omelette with some peppers, cheese and onions, we think the best way to eat them might just be to grab some and start chewing.
