We believe that good corporate citizenship is an important part of a successful business, and we support causes that we believe can improve the lives of those in our community.
We are honoured to have been part of these charity events:
City Center Storage’s Homelessness Fundraiser – May 4, 2013
City Centre Storage’s first spring charity sale to raise funds and awareness for homelessness was a huge success, raising $8,000! The funds raised will help local charities including My Sister’s Place, Mission Services, Animalert and many more to continue to provide their services to those in need.
Street Connection: Beat the Blues Fundraiser – March 24, 2013
This tenth anniversary celebration of Beat the Blues raised a whopping total of $14,500 to support Street Connection, a charity that helps empower at-risk street youth from ages 16 to 24.
Original Kids Theatre Company – February 9, 2013
As part of The Stairway to Love Gala, a live/silent auction was held to raise funds for the Original Kids Theatre Company, which gives youth an opportunity to mature and learn different experiences through theatre.
In March 2014 a group of 44 senior students are travelling to Holland, Belgium and France for a tour of famous cities, cemeteries and museums related to Canadian participation in both world wars. A trip like this is extremely valuable and we would like to thank our major sponsor Sikorski Meats for their incredible generosity helping us get there. Students were able to offset the cost of their trip through several fundraisers supported by our new partner. Thanks so much!
