An Evening at the OIMP Finest Meats Competition

Last weekend, we were honoured to attend the 2017 Ontario Finest Meats Competition in Niagara Falls, Ontario! This competition is held every two years, with contestants from all over Ontario sending in their best products to be judged by a panel of expert judges in terms of flavour, quality, and appearance. We have attended this prestigious event twice before, in 2013 and 2015, and we have been privileged to be awarded for our efforts on both occasions – winning 6 awards in 2013 and another 7 awards in 2015. This year we were once again acknowledged for our dedication to quality with a new record of eight awards for our products! Our Slow Roasted Belly Roll, All Beef Salami, Hetmanska/Pepper Ham, Polish Ham Kolbassa, Dried Krakowska, Petite Pepperettes, Debrecyna BBQ Sausage with Cheese and Debrecyna BBQ Sausage were all honoured, and our Petite Peopperetes and All Beef Salami were even awarded the Platinum award for their categories! It was an amazing night, and a very talented field of competitors.
